Jope has just finished an amazing cover in biro for issue 3. It’s so complex it hurts. For an idea of the style see the sketch below, which he used as a test. Imagine the complexity and style multiplied by 10 and you might be getting somewhere close. Thanks Jope.
A free independent B+W zine available in print or online.

It’s a UK-based publication with art, music, skateboarding, snowboarding and much more besides. Cheers to editor Nick for letting us know about it.

If you’re yet to catch the longboard bug then this site might act as a vector for infection. Great news, gear, riders, events and vids from the US. There’s some serious shit going down in the contests these days. Check out Kyle Chin (below) during his run in the recent Maryhill Festival of Speed.

Look out for photos of the Amartist editors bombing hills in issue 3.

The first in a series of collaborative desktop wallpapers are now available to download. The LVSK8 IV – Skate Deck Art Show is happening this Friday, July 2nd.
Any Las Vegas heads who are interested should make for PLACE Gallery to meet up with our mates at Art Renegades who are organising the show and check out the boards on display. The gallery is at 1054 S. Main St., just west of the S2 Arts Building and the recently completed Sculpture Park. Things will be kicking off from 6pm and wrapping up at 10pm.
Hopefully there will be some pictures and stories from the show appearing in Amartist 3.
